Kanit (Ham) Wongsuphasawat.
[pronounced Guh-nit (Ham) Wohng-soo-puh-suh-wuhd]Kanit is a Fulbright scholar studying Human-Computer Interaction and Entrepreneurship at Stanford University. He currently holds a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering (First Honor and Gold Medal) from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.
He is working in Stanford HCI Group with Scott Klemmer and Michael Bernstein on a peer assessment system for massive online open courses. Previously, he worked with Prof. Amin Saberi and designed user interfaces for Venture Lab, a massive online course platform that focuses on team-based projects. He also worked at Google in the HCI Research Group to research mobile ubiquitous computing with Elin Pedersen and Bay Wei Chang.
He will join Computer Science & Engineering PhD program at University of Washington in Fall 2013. His current research interests include Human-Computer Interaction, Interactive Systems for Visual Analysis and Communication, Design and Prototyping Tools, Tools for Education and Ubiquitous Computing.
Besides work, Kanit loves playing soccer and is a big fan of Manchester United FC. He also loves movies, books and photography.
